Holidayhouse Charneux is a country farmhouse with several surprising rooms. The property dates back to 1650 and served as a syrup distillery for a long time. It is located near the small village of the same name, Charneux, in a lovely quiet location that offers a beautiful view of the surrounding meadows. Here you can enjoy beautiful nature, rolling hills and picturesque villages reminiscent of the French countryside. Due to its unique location in the tri-border region, the three cities of Liège (B), Maastricht (NL) and Aachen (D) can all be reached within 30 minutes by car. Enjoy a day of shopping, culture and gastronomy here.

Holiday home Charneux has a playful layout. When you enter the home, you will find yourself in the hallway. From here you can walk into the living room, which has a beautiful fireplace. The living room invites you to relax on the couch while enjoying a glass of wine or a good book. There is also a second living room, offering several nice seating corners. In the large, light-filled conservatory you will find the dining area. The two long dining tables are ideal for extensive dinners with friends or family. Then you have the large kitchen which is a feast for the eyes with its stone walls, original tiled floor and wooden island. Cooking enthusiasts can really indulge themselves because the kitchen is equipped with all conveniences including a large 6-burner gas hob, a large oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a coffee machine, a kettle and of course all necessary kitchen utensils.
The bedrooms and bathrooms can be found on the ground floor and on the first floor. On the ground floor there is one double bedroom and three bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub. The stairs in the hall will take you to the first floor. Here you will find two double bedrooms, one triple bedroom and one bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. On the mezzanine level, there are three more double bedrooms and access to the studio and sauna.
Additional rooms
As mentioned earlier, Charneux is a holiday home with various unexpected rooms. It has, for example, a spacious sauna room with an eight-person sauna, a rest area with a gas fire, a foot bath, two walk-in showers and a toilet. There is also a bright recreation room that is equipped with a pool table and a ping-pong table. In addition, you have the possibility to book a multifunctional studio. This large space can for instance be used as a painter's studio, a meeting room, a rehearsal room for theatre groups or a meditation room.
Outdoor space
Charneux also has a lovely outdoor space. At the back of the holiday home, you will find a big terrace which is equipped with outdoor tables, chairs and shade cloth. From this terrace you have a stunning view over the surrounding meadows. For children there is a nice playing field with a trampoline and a soccer goal. And last but not least, Charneux is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful region Pays de Herve!
