Castle Villa le Boqueteau is a spacious villa breathing a classic atmosphere. The 30-person holiday home is wheelchair accessible, has fun extras like a jacuzzi and is, above all, located on the outskirts of Spa. This place is a popular health resort because of its clean air and hot springs.
Then and now
The stately home was built in 1914 as a luxurious country retreat for a wealthy industrialist. Authentic materials from the region such as Ardennes stone and Namur stone were used for the construction. During the Second World War, when the industrialist had enjoyed his country home for a long time, the property became an army residence. Today, after a long and extraordinary history, the villa is offered as a holiday home which reminds us of Spa's glory days.
Let’s take a look inside
When entering the house, you will find yourself in the hall from where you can walk into the living room. In this stylish and luxuriously decorated living room, many authentic elements, such as the original wallpaper, can still be admired. The room invites you to sit down on one of the lovely couches, watch a film and enjoy the crackling fire. In the adjoining lounge, everyone can sit together at the classic oval tables. The salon can also be used as a meeting room. Situated on the ground floor is a large dining room for extensive dinner parties as well as the beautiful kitchen with large cooking island. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a gas stove with seven burners, convection oven, microwave, steamer, fridge-freezer, Senseo coffee machine, two additional coffee machines and of course a dishwasher. Finally, on the ground floor is a double bedroom with a private bathroom with shower and washbasin.
Your favourite floor is probably the basement. Here you will find a wonderful relaxation area with an infra-red sauna and shower. There is also a recreation room with pool table, and table football, where both the young and the old can enjoy themselves. The room also has a projection screen. The first and second floor can be reached by the majestic staircase. Look at the remarkable framework as you climb the stairs. On the first floor there are four double bedrooms, two triple bedrooms and one quad bedroom, all with private bathrooms. Most bathrooms have their own shower and sink. In addition, some have a bathtub. On the second floor you will find two more double bedrooms, two triple bedrooms and three luxurious bathrooms.
