The stylish 13-person holiday home Molenaar is situated just outside the little village of Epen, at the back of the Wingbergermolen complex. The Wingbergermolen is a traditional Limburg watermill from 1844 that used to serve as a granary mill. Today, the Wingbergermolen is made up of three wonderful holiday homes. The Molenaar (meaning ‘miller’) is located in the old miller’s home. Staying at this holiday home is a wonderful chance to experience what water-side living is like. The location is also ideal for nature lovers and anyone who likes to indulge their tastebuds.
Let’s take a look inside
The holiday home has a spacious living room with two stylish sitting areas, one on either side of the fireplace. Enjoy the crackling fire while drinking a glass of wine, watching TV or playing a board game with family and friends. From the living room you can walk through into the large, charming kitchen, which is equipped with all conveniences including a dishwasher, 6-burner gas hob, large oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and kettle. The long dining table is ideal for enjoying meals together with the entire group. On the ground floor there are also two separate shower rooms and a separate toilet. On the first floor there are four double bedrooms with washbasin and also a modern bathroom with shower and toilet. On the second floor you will find a double bedroom with washbasin and a triple bedroom. All bedrooms are equipped with luxury single box-spring beds.
Outdoor space
Guests staying at the Molenaar have access to a lovely lounge terrace beside the river Geul, where you can enjoy the sun, the soothing sound of the water trickling by, and the beautiful views. You also have a good chance of spotting wagtails, trout and even beavers. At the front of the Molenaar there is also a communal garden with playground.
