Welcome to the holiday home ‘Keulens Hoaf’ in the hamlet of Terstraten. The hamlet was awarded ‘conservation area’ status in 1969 thanks to its many well-preserved, half-timbered farmhouses and properties with polychrome brickwork. Terstraten is known as a painter’s paradise. From time immemorial, this 18th century, half-timbered, listed farmhouse has belonged to the Keulen family. Daughter Ria and her husband Erwin have since moved into the property and would be glad to welcome you.
Inside
After parking the car, you can access the holiday home via the garden. To the right-hand side is a secure shed where you can store and charge your bikes; to the left is the entrance to the house via the charming kitchen-diner. This is the perfect place to prepare delicious food while enjoying a view of the garden. Featuring beautiful, natural-stone worktops, the kitchen is equipped with a large oven, 5-ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and kettle, as well as all the utensils you need. Your guests can enjoy a glass of wine in the cosy dining area while you serve up some culinary highlights. The kitchen leads into the hall, where you can access the living area via a split-level step. The stone walls, ceiling beams, and original fireplace add to the space’s charming character. The dining table has a view of the leafy garden, which makes this a lovely place to dine. The cosy sitting area has a comfortable sofa and a Smart TV.
The bedrooms are located on the first floor: there are four double bedrooms, three of which have single box-spring beds, and the other has a double electric adjustable bed. The bathroom, with walk-in shower and washbasin, as well as a separate toilet are also located on the first floor.
Outside
The kitchen leads onto the private, south-facing garden – the ideal place to enjoy the sun in spring and summer and admire the fantastic views. You can relax here with your guests while enjoying some freshly grilled meat from the barbecue. The centre of Nuth has plenty of places to do your groceries and is located just a few minutes away. Valkenburg or Maastricht are just 15 minutes away and are ideal for shopping or having a drink and a bite to eat.

This area is a haven for hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers. Follow the designated routes and discover the most breathtaking places.
