Welcome to Sjilberg, a charming holiday home for 2 people with sauna and covered terrace, situated in a very green setting, right in the heart of the South Limburg hills. Thanks to its unique location just a few steps from the Belgian border, you will immediately feel at holiday here!
Then and now
The history of this property is not entirely known. In 2018, the adjacent farmhouse was completely destroyed by fire. It is likely that where the holiday home now stands was formerly the stable of that farmhouse. In 2020, the holiday home was renovated, preserving the Limburg character beautifully.
Indoors
Holiday home Sjilberg is a delightful accommodation equipped with all comforts. A cosy ground floor accommodation where to unwind and relax after a walk or bike ride through the South Limburg hills.
The living space consists of an open kitchen, dining area, and cozy seating area with access to the bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, dishwasher, combination microwave, Nespresso and filter coffee machine, and a complete kitchen inventory. This allows you to prepare a home-made dinner or enjoy one of the many restaurants in the region. The bedroom is spacious and the box-spring beds are already made up for you upon arrival. The ensuite bathroom features a walk-in rain shower and sink. The toilet is separate.
Outdoors
You have a private terrace with garden furniture at your disposal, right in front of the accommodation. There is also a bit of lawn next to the terrace, that you can use.
On the side of the accommodation is the finest spot for you to use, namely the covered terrace with sauna. Just sit and relax in the lounge sofa and come to admire the surrounding nature!
