As soon as you walk into ‘La Hacienda’, you’ll feel those sunny, Mediterranean vibes. The four-person holiday home is made of marl, decorated in a boho-chic style, and located on the vast 't Ingendael nature reserve in Valkenburg.
Unwind in the beautiful surroundings, splash in the outdoor pool, enjoy the vista of the landscape from the Jacuzzi, or relax in the sauna. Thanks to its mix of luxury, wellness, nature, and tranquillity, a stay at La Hacienda is nothing short of unforgettable. Proud homeowners Armand and Shtrojera will also be there to welcome you!
Please note: The property is only suitable for adults (18 years and older) during the pool season (May through September).
Inside
As soon as you enter the holiday home, you’ll be welcomed by its warm and inviting look and feel. The boho-style décor creates a trendy yet calming ambience. The ground floor contains the living area, an open-plan kitchen, a double bedroom with a king-size box-spring bed and a separate toilet. The kitchen has a four-zone induction hob, combi microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee-making machine, and a kettle.
The stairs lead to the first floor and the other double bedroom, which has a lovely king-size box-spring bed (made prior to arrival), a ceiling fan for warm nights, and an en-suite bathroom with sink, walk-in shower, and toilet. Everything you need for a good night’s sleep!
Outside
The house has a spacious, enclosed garden with several lovely sitting areas, loungers, and a garden furniture set where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun in summer.
Walk through the iron gate to access the next sitting area, where you can find the Jacuzzi and relish the panorama of the ‘t Ingendael nature reserve. Just picture it...
On the other side, on the homeowners’ private land, are the sauna and outdoor swimming pool where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in summer or sit by the side with a book and dip your feet in the water. Please note: Since the pool is located in the private area of the homeowners, its use is always subject to agreement with the owners.
Cars can be parked in the private car park. Motorbikes and bicycles can be stored in the enclosed shed.
Surroundings
As soon as you step outside, you will find various walking and cycling routes – a paradise for avid cyclists of walkers. The surrounding nature reserve 't Ingendael, grazed by Galloway cattle and Konik horses, ends at the gently flowing ‘De Geul’ river. Be sure to have a walk through and enjoy the captivating natural surroundings!
Located a stone’s throw away is the lively tourist town of Valkenburg, which is packed with shops and fantastic restaurants and cafés with outdoor seating. The holiday home is just a two-minute drive from the motorway to the bustling provincial capital of Maastricht, which is definitely worth a visit!
