In the hamlet Fromberg (Voerendaal) lies the authentic 4-person holiday home called Ferme Fromberg. This holiday home is part of a centuries-old farmhouse that combines various Limburg building styles. The lady who owns the farmhouse has decorated Ferme Fromberg in her own special way, making every room and corner visually interesting. Her enthusiasm has resulted in a great mix of antiques, Buddha statues, African art and statues of Mary. The owner herself lives in the other part of the farmhouse and is happy to provide you with some fresh eggs in the morning.
Let's take a look inside
Once you have entered the holiday home through the side door, you will find yourself in a small hall. From the hall you have access to the living room, which has a unique appearance thanks to its marl-coloured walls, wooden floor and vaulted ceiling. From the cosy sitting area by the wood stove, you can overlook the meadows with grazing sheep. In the back of the living room, you will find a round dining table and an open kitchen. The kitchen is quite basic, but equipped with all modern conveniences such as a dishwasher, 4-burner hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and kettle. If you go upstairs, you will enter a big open space that consists of a second sitting area and a two-person sleeping area. These two areas can be closed off from each other by using the folding screen. On the upper floor you will also find an enclosed double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, bathtub, washbasin and toilet.
Outdoor space
As a guest at Ferme Fromberg, you have access to a lovely private terrace surrounded by plants. In this sheltered and peaceful spot, you can start your day with a cup of coffee in the sun. We certainly recommend exploring the beautiful surroundings. From the front door, you can start several walking and cycling routes that are definitely worthwhile.
