History
Picture an expansive farmhouse surrounded by meadows, where friends with a shared dream embark on a renovation challenge. This is the adventure that Romain and Sarah began by purchasing, renovating, and moving into a wing of this impressive building. Two years later, they also tackled the outbuildings to turn them into a cozy holiday home. The renovation used ecological and natural materials, including lime paint, wood, and stone.
Interior
Inside the holiday home, you'll experience a warm atmosphere seamlessly blending modernity and traditional charm. The compact kitchenette is fully equipped. In the dining and living area, featuring a pellet stove, a cozy ambiance prevails, inviting you to relax. The bedroom, tucked away at the back, charms with its exposed wooden beams, providing a rustic and authentic atmosphere. The carefully designed bathroom boasts a beautiful mortex sink, a spacious shower, and an infrared sauna - perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking.
Exterior
Outside, a private terrace awaits you with a peaceful view of the surrounding meadows. You can securely fasten your bikes in the designated area and charge them if needed.
Surroundings
From the holiday home, you can head straight out for a hike, for example, along the Ravel n.38 - a former railway line transformed into a walking path leading all the way to Germany. The Three-Borders region offers varied landscapes in every season. Nearby is the Abbey of Val Dieu, with its stunning park and cozy brewery where you can savor a tasty Val Dieu beer!
