Inside
Driving through the Voer region in Belgium, with its many French influences, is sure to give you that holiday feeling even before you arrive. After passing by the rolling green hills and many meadows with grazing cows, you arrive at the holiday home Dal van Schophem. Once you have parked your car in the designated spot, you can access the home via the front garden. You enter the home into the spacious hall, where you can put your belongings and larger objects such as bicycles. This hallway leads onto the living room and open-plan kitchen. In the cosy sitting area, you can enjoy the crackling wood of the stove while reading a good book, watching a film, or enjoying each other’s company. The open kitchen with dining area is equipped with an induction hob, fridge, combi microwave oven, electric oven, and coffee machine. You will also find a built-in washing machine and a dishwasher.
The staircase leads to the upper floor, which has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Both bedrooms have a lovely boxspring bed, and the bathroom has a shower, washbasin, and toilet.
Outside
The private terrace, situated to the side of the holiday home, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet of this wonderful area. Summers are warm enough to sit outside and admire the beautiful starry sky in the evening.
There is a parking space in front of the holiday home with a charging point for an electric car.
Surroundings
The holiday home is situated in perhaps the most beautiful walking and cycling area of the Voer region – you can walk or cycle directly into the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the unique flora and fauna. While the region is famous for its badgers, you might also spot deer, wild boar, foxes, hedgehogs, buzzards, kingfishers, eagle owls, and woodpeckers. Feel free to ask the homeowners for the best things to see and do in the area!
