The 5-person holiday home Wentelhuis is nestled between the beautiful valleys and streams of the Belgian Voer region. This traditional half-timbered house has been lovingly renovated, stylishly decorated and equipped with all conveniences to make you quickly feel at home. The Wentelhuis owes its name to its old, cast iron spiral staircase.
Let’s take a look inside
You enter into the hall where there is a cloakroom and a separate toilet. Then you go through the authentic stained-glass door to the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner ceramic hob, small oven, microwave (on request), fridge-freezer, coffee machine and kettle. In the old fireplace there is also a wood-burning stove that creates a warm and cosy feel. Via the blue, cast iron spiral staircase you reach the first floor where there is an attractive sitting area with a smart TV. The little table by the window is ideal for enjoying an aperitif or playing a board game. Games and books can be found in the desk area around the corner. The landing also has a cosy spot to sleep. On the second floor you will find a romantic bedroom with an oak floor and lots of natural light. This bedroom has its own walk-in shower and ornate washbasin. The last bedroom can be found on the third floor and has a double bed and a single bed. This bedroom also has a private shower and washbasin. In addition, this room offers beautiful views over the hills.
Outdoor space
Guests of the Wentelhuis can enjoy the sun on their terrace in the characteristic courtyard, but can also use the communal garden that is shared with guests from the nearby holiday homes. In addition, there is an outdoor fire pit that guarantees memorable evenings together. The children have not been forgotten either! They can have fun with the swing, slide and sandpit.
