This luxury 10-person holiday home is located on the edge of a forest, on the grounds of a former abbey in the Belgian town of Sinnich. A gen Bron owes its name to the spring that rises in front of the house. This spring served in the distant past as a washing and drinking place for the inhabitants of the hamlet. In the garden you will find evidence of this, in the form of a large natural stone washbasin. The house, the nearby castle, the abbey, and the watermill all together have a great historical value and therefore form a protected nature area.
Take a look inside
When you enter the house, you will immediately feel at home thanks to the cosy interior that consists of natural materials and warm colours. The living room which is the heart of the house will most probably evoke some nostalgic feelings. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with a 4-burner ceramic hob, large oven, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and dishwasher. The rustic dining table allows you to enjoy an extensive dinner together with your friends or family.
A gen Bron has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the ground floor is a stylishly furnished double bedroom with sink. The first floor has two more double rooms (with sink) and one quadruple room. The quadruple room has two double beds separated by a partition wall. The first floor also has a very luxurious bathroom with a toilet, shower, large sink, and bath. The other bathroom is located in the basement.
Playroom
You’ll find a fantastic playroom in the garage. Children – and adults, too! – are sure to have fun on the play equipment. There is a table tennis table, football table, pool table, air hockey table, dartboard, flat-screen TV, and PlayStation 3. Simply put, you won’t run out of things to do here! The garage can also be used as a storage space for mountain bikes and other equipment.
Outdoor space
Through the garden doors in the living room you have access to the lovely terrace and garden. Here you will find not only wooden garden furniture, but also a barbecue. From the garden you have a magnificent view of the forest "Beusdalbos" and the meandering stream "Gulp". In the early morning you may spot a wild boar or a deer in the fields.
