Amidst the Voer region, in the hamlet of Veurs, lies the charming 8-person holiday home called Bie Jetteke. In 2013, Francis Haccourt and his wife Ee decided to renovate a dilapidated half-timbered farmhouse. In one part of this farmhouse they created B&B rooms and in the other part they built the holiday home Veurzerbron. Veurzerbron was so popular that they decided to convert the B&B rooms into a holiday home as well. The result is a very special holiday home with the atmosphere of the past and the high-quality finish of today.
Let's take a look inside
To enter the house, you need to cross the terrace of the adjacent brasserie (currently closed). After that, you can enter the welcoming living area of Bie Jetteke, which consists of a dining area and sitting area. The large corner sofa in the sitting area is perfect for lounging in front of the woodstove and flatscreen television. Next to the dining area with the large, wooden dining table you will find a modern kitchen which is equipped with all conveniences including a 4-burner ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. Upstairs are four attractively furnished double bedrooms located. All bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower, toilet and washbasin.
Outdoor space
During your stay, you will have a nice private garden and terrace at your disposal. Here, you can enjoy peace and quiet and the view of the beautiful landscape. There is also a communal bocce court on the property. The holiday home is surrounded by several renowned cycling and hiking trails, making it the perfect base for exploring the Voer region. The Burgundian village of Aubel, known for its lively terraces and its market with local delicacies, is just 3 kilometres away. You are also not far from Liège, Aachen and Maastricht. These amazing cities are only a 20-minute drive away.
